As a Community Engagement Manager at FuturEnergy Ireland since November 2023, I am responsible for engaging with the public and stakeholders on a number of onshore wind developments across the country. With a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Local Development and Innovation from TU Dublin, I have the skills and knowledge to facilitate constructive dialogue and collaboration between diverse groups and interests, and to ensure that the project reflects the needs and aspirations of the communities involved. I have over nine years of experience in the non-profit and energy sectors, where I have developed and delivered various programmes and initiatives related to education for sustainable development (ESD), global citizenship education (GCE), youth and community engagement, public speaking, and advocacy. I am passionate about promoting renewable energy and environmental awareness, and empowering people to take action for positive change. I am also a strong communicator, a creative thinker, and a team player who enjoys working with others to achieve shared goals.
