- During COVID-19, worked tirelessly with my team to provide medications to patients in a timely and safe manner, concordant with local and state public health mandates. - Coordinated patient adherence, filled prescriptions, answered patient questions, solved issues with insurance rejections, contacted doctors for SIG clarifications and refills, registered patients for vaccinations, maintained inventory, and ordered non-controlled drugs. - Broadened understanding of current issues in healthcare, from insurance coverage to the consequences of the opioid epidemic.
- Studied exosomal protein content in relation to oncogenic signaling pathways and pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) cell survival. - Performed Western blots, cell culture, ultracentrifugation, Nanoparticle Tracking Analysis (NTA), tissue homogenization, BCA, fluorescence imaging, and general lab maintenance. - Assisted surgical resident in preparation of fresh pancreatic tissue samples and analysis of proteomic content. - Collaborated with the UF Department of Biostatistics for novel application of Analysis of Composition of Microbiomes (ANCOM) to compare exosomal and parental proteomes. - Explored possible exosome proteomic analysis via Raman spectroscopy with the UF Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering.
- Assisted Ph.D. candidate and post-doctoral student in studying ischemia/reperfusion injury in fatty liver models. - Performed Western blots, genotyping of transgenic mice, BCA, and general lab maintenance. - Presented activity during weekly lab meetings.
- Created and distributed the Premedical Monthly Newsletter to 1400+ students nationwide, highlighting national initiatives, current issues in healthcare, member success stories, and mentorship opportunities. - Maintained the Premedical Division's bylaws, correspondance, and records of academic awards and scholarships. - Organized and participated in monthly conference calls between executive officers.
- Developed the annual Women Rising in Medicine premedical symposium, an all-day event with multiple workshops, speakers, and resource representatives designed to jumpstart undergraduate students into professional healthcare activities. - Completed a successful feminine hygiene drive to benefit the Helping Hands Clinic Women's Health Program, meeting total supply needs for 4+ months. - Hosted monthly general body meetings featuring physicians and admissions panelists. - Mentored junior pre-medical students on coursework and medical school applications.
- Served as as the connection between university AMWA branches in IL, IN, KY, MI, OH and the parent organization. In particular, distributed resources to branches for national initiatives and advocated branch activities to parent leadership. - Directed 7 branches, contacted 76 universities, and completed recruitment of 3 new branches. - Developed a hands-on workshop teaching patient assessment and basic life support (BLS) skills for AMWA's 103rd Annual Meeting. - Presented the University of Florida's branch activities and tips on hosting a branch symposium at the AMWA 103rd Annual Meeting.

- Facilitated relations between the freshman student body and Student Government to increase civic engagement. - Planned and marketed Food for Thought, an annual finals week wellness event, drawing 500+ students. - Liaised with campus and corporate institutions to host and advertise St. Baldrick's, raising $12,646 for pediatric cancer research.
