Field Application Engineer dedicated to Passives, Electro-Mechanical, and Connector components (PEMCO or IP&E) as well as Power Components. ●Maintained relevant training on electronic components to deliver technical solutions to customers in Colorado and Utah for interconnect, passive, and electro-mechanical (IP&E) products across 50+ suppliers ● Generated new product introductions (NPIs) for semiconductors and electro-mechanical components for engineers to use to educate customers and internal teams on cutting edge technologies ● Built and maintained strong relationships with key clients serving as a technical contact and ensuring their needs were met on an ongoing basis to drive demand creation and sales ● Successfully integrated supplier products into customer designs generating over a million dollars in sales
• Participated and observed active electronic design meetings for a wide variety of companies to assist in incorporating new technologies
•Facilitate creators in the innovation lab space, hold workshops, and assist with equipment like the 3D printer, laser engraver, and electronics (such as soldering and wiring)
• Assisted in experimentation, research, and product development of a large-scale, lightweight, multi-purpose drone using propellers, jet engines, and air compressors • Developed, executed, and documented experimental procedures to implement into the design to further progress the product such building a wind tunnel to understand the fluid behavior of the design • Workshop experience with using machines such as a 3D Printer, 2D CNC, lathe, and other rotary tools on various materials such as different grade aluminums, plastics, and woods • Tested different materials and molding methods to develop a full-scale prototype
