For PinkRoccade Healthcare, I described and analyzed the business model of MyHealth Online (which is one of the company’s products). • Literature research about business modeling and relevant e-health topics. • Conduct interviews with stakeholders (physicians, practitioners, experts, managers, and developers) • Describe and analyze the business model • Formulate recommendations for improvement of the business model
For the AKF-department (clinical physics), I built a database in MS Access. This database contains information about the medical equipment of the hospital. • Determine the requirements of the database • Build the database in MS Access (using SQL and VBA)
For the course “Clinical Safety and Quality Assurance”. This was a practical assignment which entailed making a risk assessment of the medical ventilators of the hospital. • Literature research about medical ventilation and associated risks • Conduct interviews with physicians and nurses • Apply the “hourglass method” (a method for risk assessment developed in 2007 by the Twente University in collaboration with the Medisch Spectrum Twente) • Formulate preventive and repair measures for important risks and consequences.
