Led a team of developers in delivering fault-tolerant, production-grade code through individual contributorship, code review, and mentorship. Managed client projects, ensuring that the development team was set up for success and features could be delivered correctly and on time. Spearheaded the company’s hiring initiative, during which I conducted multiple rounds of interviews resulting in the addition of two new team members that were great technical and cultural fits.
Built robust, scalable web and mobile applications to deliver products across a variety of industries including health/wellness, fitness, and peer-to-peer messaging. Regularly met with clients in a collaborative setting to understand their goals, collect project requirements, and ensure projects stayed on course. Provided support for external teams across a variety of tech stacks in the form of code review, technical writing, and app maintenance.
Led a redesign and fresh implementation of theadvocate.com that enhanced user experience and device compatibility while satisfying both editorial and advertising stakeholders. Developed in-house web applications to process editorial content, improve field operations, and serve content to mobile apps.
Designed and developed LoLA (Log On Louisiana), a web portal used by the college system’s student body to access their grades and course materials. Built a custom Java/LDAP integration to allow students to authenticate with LoLA using their existing university credentials.
