As Regional Manager, I cover all processing industries in North America as well as the ethanol industry for South America, helping companies "see" their data. I take a consultative approach to issues a company or plant may face and assess how to connect all their data to one platform to solve problems and/or enhance operations.
My role integrates broad solution knowledge, consultative skills, and industry knowledge to facilitate customer adoption of better Manufacturing and Execution Systems (MES). MES encompasses many layers of knowledge including ranging Chemical Engineering to IT architecture. My Responsibilities Include: - Articulate solutions for Chemicals, Energy, Pharmaceuticals, Channels, and CPG in MES - Participate and/or lead customer consulting engagements to facilitate sales, including workshops, value assessments, and seminars - Apply consultative skills in customer-facing situations to identify problems and understand their business issues - Facilitate customer understanding of MES solution technical functionality, value creation, and business process improvement - Act as a business partner to sales account managers in strategic and tactical planning activities
- Analyze Operations within Specialty Chemical and Biofuel companies to develop and present software business value solutions - Work with various employees for designing and optimizing processes, estimating utility and capital costs, plant safety analysis, and equipment design - Provide demos, whitepapers, and case studies for further value justification
As a student advocate, I work with students and faculty on campus to increase Trine University retention. I also assist all the incoming students to guide them through their first year at Trine. This is done with stu dent convocations, orientations, or simply having lunch with a student to stay updated on their experience.
