Fresh graduate Chemical Engineering student from Singapore Polytechnic, graduating in April 2024. Part of Singapore Polytechnic’s Outstanding Talents Program, top 5% of student body. Proficient with operating both large scale chemical plants and lab equipment. Experienced in 3D printing, laser cutting and product design process. Passionate in the green energy/ material industry and eager to contribute in the chemical engineering sector. Receiver of MOE Tuition Grant, eligible for flexible consideration for S-Pass application.
Worked in NEA-backed air sampling project to monitor air quality in Singapore, carried out at the NUS Environmental Research Institute. Assist in both field work and laboratory work. Carried out field-based air sampling and lab-based chemical analysis of dust and PFAS samples. Operate and maintain sampling and analysis equipment. Produce literature reviews and academic articles summaries on air quality reports. Assist with various laboratory-based tasks and maintenance to ensure smooth operation.
Volunteered with NUS Raffles Volunteer Corps, leading weekly activities and festive events for seniors and their caregivers at community centres.
Manufacturing Excellence intern, involved in projects to continuously improve SOPs and operational efficiency, as well as digitalization and problem solving. Carried out trials runs to observe the quality and yield of new materials and ingredients, and report observations to managements to assists in decision making. Assisted in digitalization projects, converting paper forms into a centralized digital form library, where all forms are accessible and data entered are automatically sent to a database.
Volunteered with SYCA to organize and host workshops and dialogues on environmental and climate issues, including community initiatives, policy discussions, and sessions with Members of Parliament to connect the public with policymakers.
