I am in my final year studying at Nanyang Technological University in Mechanical Engineering with Robotics Stream. Graduated from Ngee Ann Polytechnic with the diploma of Aerospace Technology.
- Intern at Singapore Aero Engine Services Limited (SAESL), supporting the MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) of Rolls-Royce aero engines - Developed an Automated Engine Configurator (AEC) using VBA in Excel to identify engine core part numbers based on module data and Service Bulletins (SBs) - Streamlined engine retrieval processes by linking sales order inputs to engine configuration logic, reducing manual referencing - Collaborated with technicians and engineers to understand workflows and integrate automation into daily operations - Assisted in drafting work packages and delivering essential documents to support on-site engine overhaul activities
- Intern as a Mechanical Design Engineer focused on improving machining processes through design ideation and problem-solving - Designed custom jigs using CAD software to support cleanroom operations, improving workflow and usability - Liaised with cleanroom personnel to understand on-ground challenges and deliver practical engineering solutions
I am involved in crafting learning materials and assessment package under Ngee Ann Polytechnic for a new module called Aircraft Mechanical System. I have come out with interesting and engaging learning materials which include lecture notes and slides. Also, I have innovated a way for students to create a model for future students to build for their practical. Through this, I have picked up important soft skills like teamwork, communication and leadership of which are vital in a group setting.
