HR that only reacts to what leaders ask for is HR that arrives too late. I partner with senior leaders to build people strategies that get ahead of the business — workforce planning, organisational design, leadership development, and the hard conversations that prevent bigger problems down the line. For the past decade I've done this at BCG, L'Oréal, and now Maersk, where I own the people agenda for 1,400 employees and 180 people leaders across Maersk Technology. The scope matters less to me than the quality of the partnership — I'm most useful when I'm in the room before the decision is made, not after. My career started in operational HR: payroll across four Nordic countries, HRIS implementation, GDPR compliance at scale. I'm glad it did. It means I'm credible to the people managers who actually run businesses, not just the ones who sit in strategy meetings. And it means I can use HR data to make a case, not just a feeling. Military background — platoon commander, Danish Army — gave me the rest: leading under ambiguity, developing people who need real feedback, building trust fast. I'm particularly interested in how HR functions evolve from support roles into commercial partners, and what it takes to build leadership cultures that survive organisational change. If you work in a business where HR is expected to be a genuine driver of performance — not a policy function — send me a message. I want that conversation.
