• Reporting to the Head of Office and charged with building this new role – being responsible for investment performance oversight of the Irish domiciled funds (circa 80 funds & AUM $35bn) • Became an approved person with the Central Bank of Ireland (PCF 39) • Membership of the European Investment Committee (EIC) and attendance at the quarterly Fund / Management Company board (Board) meetings • Created process and procedures for creation / collation of monthly and quarterly Board reporting – framework included market overview, performance, attribution, holdings and outlook. I assessed these reports and presented observations to the EIC and board. • Responsible for the content of the Investment Management section in the board meetings – presenting my report, organising PMs slots / presentations and briefing the board members on performance observations and ensuring all funds had quarterly reports.

I set up Fernandes Financial Services Ltd to perform this short contract role; which involved providing technical expertise to the Head of Function in the Savings and Investments Insurance Customer Delivery (Operations) department.
