As a Product & Analytics professional, I can leverage my skills and expertise across various domains, such as education & edtech, cleantech, fintech, retail and e-commerce to provide insights and recommendations for product, sales & data strategies. I have worked with a team of analysts and engineers to design, implement, and evaluate data-driven solutions that enhanced the performance and profitability of our products and services. Within data specifically, I have worked to develop roadmaps and frameworks for my clients' data needs and goals. I have also applied machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing techniques to analyze and visualize complex and large-scale data sets using Python, R, Tableau, SQL, and other tools. I am passionate about finding and communicating meaningful patterns and trends in data that can inform and improve decision-making and outcomes. Skills & Techniques: Data Analysis - EAD, predictive and prescriptive analytics (Python, R) Regression analysis (R, Python) Machine Learning & Deep Learning (Python, R) Text analytics - Natural Language Processing (NLP) Data Visualization (R, Tableau, Python) Databases (SQL, NoSQL, MongoDB) Big Data (Spark, Hadoop) Previously, I worked for as a chemical engineer for 6 years in R&D and Product Development of polymers & (nano)materials. My responsibilities included, among other things - ideation & execution of experiments, developing new chemistry & product prototypes, product improvement, gathering analytical data, testing & characterization of materials. Lastly, I also have extensive experience in the startup ecosystem, having founded one, worked in many and contributed otherwise. I like to think of myself as a highly detail-oriented, creative & resourceful professional who is able to deliver consistently under pressure. I'm extremely curious, a good listener, a philomath (love to learn) and a culture vulture - but also love sports (esp. soccer) and the outdoors. The world of information we live in and interact with, which in turn touches upon and influences in the larger world around it, is fascinating and challenging to handle, analyze and interpret. Having assimilated information in it's most traditional form (through books) all my life, and then professionally in research and product development, I grapple with data full-time now, in the areas of education, marketing, retail, fintech as well as in journalistic and non-profit endeavors.
