I'm Yi Ting! An analyst enthusiast hoping to join the IT industry upon graduation. Currently studying Big Data and Analytics in Temasek Polytechnic, I have dabbled in using KNIME workflows and creating dashboards through data storytelling. In AY23/24 and AY24/25, I placed in the Director's List and have a cGPA of 3.81. I'm a motivated and resilient individual who has experimented in computer programming (Python, JavaScript). I am also currently developing my project management and communication skills through project work in my Polytechnic. I was also the Technical Head in my school's theatre CCA Teatro for AY24/25. This role allows me to have experince with liasing between CCA's and working in a team.
Over the course of my Internship with GIC’s Risk and Performance Management Department, I had the opportunity to work with the Risk and Reporting team on the following: • Helped with the migration of a large-scale risk monitoring report form Excel to Tableau, developing database-driven interactive dashboards that enhanced risk transparency and reporting efficiency • Automated data pipelines for multiple datasets using SQL and Tableau, enabling dynamic metric selection, real-time data refresh and downloading • Supported AI Assistant development through prompt design and testing, improving query accuracy and response quality.
Over the course of interning with Singlife, I helped to streamline and improve existing scripts used to prepare data that are used for daily dashboarding by using VBA macros and Python, despite I learnt both programming languages from scratch in the space of the 6 weeks.
