Project: JUBAIL TO EASTERN PROVINCE WATER TRANSMISSION SYSTEM - PHASE 3 (JEPWTS Phase-3) Client: Saline Water Conversion Corporation (SWCC) – Saudi Water Authority (SWA) Contractor: Al-Rashid Trading & Contracting Co. (RTCC) Project Value: 1,704,600,529.19 SAR Leading a multidisciplinary technical team of engineers supervising the overall execution of a Water Transmission System (WTS) from the existing desalination plant at Jubail to Eastern Province Cities up to Al-Khobar including: • New pump station, with a capacity of up to 900,000 m3/day, located adjacent to the existing facilities at Jubail desalination plant, and fed through suction pipework from the Jubail Tank Farm comprising a 96” header pipes. • New storage facility at Dammam Amana reservoir, comprising of 4 storage tanks with capacity of 170,000 m3 each and a new Chlorination system. • Two (2) additional storage tanks, with capacity of 25,000 m3 each, at Ras-Tanura reservoir facility. • New carbon steel pipeline of around 139km long, comprising of a mainline with 65.5km of 100” diameter and 37.8km 80” diameter pipes from Jubail to Azizia Al-Khobar new storage tanks, New Dammam Amana twin branches (to allow for bi-directional flow between Dammam Amana Offtake and Azizia Al-Khobar) both with diameter of 80”, branch lines to existing reservoirs at Safwa 28” diameter 2.25km long, existing and new reservoirs at Ras-Tanura 22” diameter 19.3km long, existing reservoirs at Al Qatif 52” diameter 1.98km long, and existing reservoirs at As-Sawari 52” diameter 4.47km long as well as End Stations piping.

Working in an ISO certified and approved leading contracting company, where the mainstream line of works falls primarily under public utilities, allowed me to accumulate a broad experience in multi-discipline infrastructure and industrial works ranging from pipelines, networks and pumping stations to treatment plants, district cooling plants and energy transfer stations. All through this period, I have been handling the following major responsibilities: • In charge of the Mechanical Engineering Division. • Managing a team of mechanical engineers and technicians. • Fully involved in supervising and coordinating all activities pertaining to the mechanical discipline including but not limited to tendering, commercial and technical bids evaluation, material selection and procurement, design and engineering, installation, testing, commissioning, maintenance, and other related contractual matters. • Ensuring undertaken activities are in line with the related policy of all SHEQ matters. • Follow up and coordination with clients, consultants and suppliers.
Palatex Engineering was specialized in oil pollution prevention systems and other electro-mechanical works such as firefighting systems and various maintenance works such as rehabilitation of MSF desalination units and overhauling of high capacity diesel generating sets of 2500kVA. During this period I have handled the following responsibilities: • In charge of electro-mechanical works on various projects. • Supervising electro-mechanical works activities including engineering, material procurement, detailed design, shop drawings preparation, installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of completed projects. • Liaise with clients, consultants and suppliers.
ERCO was the main contractor who built the new University Complex at Oran (USTO) which was designed by the famous Japanese architect Kenzo TANGE. My contribution was as follows: • Participated in detailed design and shop drawings preparation. • Supervision of HVAC and sanitary installations at site.
