An experienced and dedicated Retail Operations Manager currently looking for a new challenge. I have extensive multi-site management experience in non profit and high street retail organisations. Areas of expertise include: leading and developing multi-site teams, a track record of project managing major store openings, refits and refurbishments; strong financial / P&L management skills with oversight of multi million turnover with the ability to develop high level business Plans and strategy to drive revenue and profit, along with operational excellence and excellent customer service. I am also used to working with the wider stakeholders from the business community.
Responsible for Co-ordinating all aspects of the food retail operations, comprising of 70 food stores and 10 petrol stations. Maintaining the highest level of customer service and store operating standards. Reporting to me was a team of 5 area managers. Working with the inhouse team I operated a successful food business achieving year on year growth.
Responsibility for a group of 70 food stores in West Yorkshire.
Responsibility for the day to day running of the Food stores in the Leeds Area, Also involved in store openings,refits and acquisitions.Won city store of the year 2007 sponsored by The Grocer magazine. Joined United Cooperative/The Cooperative following merger with Leeds Cooperative Society
