NYU Residential Life & Housing Services - A paraprofessional who lives in an undergraduate residence hall - Responsible for developing over 10 programs per academic year focused on community engagement for residential dorm residents - Responsible for overseeing 70 residents, resolving conflicts, and encouraging goals and interests - A leader and resource for the residents in the community -- largely focusing on community development - A referral agent and intellectual leader within the hall with the primary purpose of creating a sense of belonging. - The primary goal of the RA is the development of an environment conducive to the academic and personal growth of residential students.
NYU Center for Student Life - Supported the transition of 600 new first-year and transfer students and 20,000 returning undergraduate students through a variety of intentional programs like Board Game Night and Silent Rave. - Responsibilities included serving on a tight-knit team of 40 Spring Welcome staff members to help students transition to NYU and NYC, overseeing crowd management, and executing a Times Square Excursion to help students succeed in college. - Worked collaboratively on a team of 10 to create engaging social media posts for over 13,000 followers. - Participated in Spring Leader training, which included workshops on leadership development, social justice, implementing events, and more.
Skanska Building - Assisted with document control for closed RFI's, updated drawings & specifications, bid proposals, and etc. - Updated meeting minutes from OAC meetings in Procore - Created award recommendation letters & letters of regret for each subcontractor who bid for the project & entered corresponding bids, bid package information, allowances, and qualifications & exclusions - Set up Procore submittal register, verified information in drawings & specifications, created architectural submittals for shop drawings, product data, samples, and etc.
