Founded, designed and launched an online platform for alumni and student organizations to connect, communicate and fundraise. Alma Mater is based on the premise that alumni are more likely to engage and give back to the organizations they were involved in rather than the universities and colleges themselves. Sole Founder and Advisory Board Member of the Virginia Tech Crew Alumni Association, raising money for the Virginia Tech Crew Team and organizing events where alumni can reconnect with each other and with the current team. The VTCAA is now responsible for the organization of over 200 Virginia Tech Crew alumni and $20,000 raised annually.
Was responsible for all performance and competitive aspects of the 50+ athlete co-ed Virginia Tech rowing program. Multiple podium finishes at regional and national championship regattas.
