About

As the Head of the Procurement and Contracts Departments my role is to ensure that Rambøll is able to continue to grow and develop the excellent Procurement and Contracts teams. This also involves ensuring end to end management from the client sales bid process through to tender and contract management. Our team provides procurement support for a number of clients across a broad spectrum of EPC / M projects supporting the Global energy transition. This includes the development and integration of AI and digitalisation tools and processes to ensure our continued success. We have experience of developing and negotiating contractual agreements across multiple spend areas and industries. Balancing risk and commercial perspectives to drive maximum benefit. I strongly believe that success is driven through the development of my team, and in the strong relationships with our stakeholders. Working in strategic procurement, I have a strong background in category management, contract negotiation, supply chain development and general management. These roles been across a broad set of industries within the field of shipping & logistics, as well as manufacturing, construction, FMCG and Supply Chain consultancy. This provides a diversity of thought that I also encourage within my international team. I have been fortunate to receive training and development throughout my career, including Korn Ferry Leadership training in Maersk, Selection for the DFDS Management Talent scheme, and various Procurement courses (negotiation, 7 sourcing steps, E-procurement etc).     • P&L responsibility for the Procurement, Contract Management and Cost Estimation departments within Ramboll, a global management consultancy orgsanisation. • Driving procurement and contract management excellence on behalf of clients across multiple industries (Energy, Pharmaceutical, Industrial, IT etc).       • As a result of the technical managed acquisition of the Maersk Tankers fleet, I was transferred and promoted to the Head of Procurement (CPO) role, responsible for both the strategic procurement (Indirect, Direct, Facility Management) and the Supply Chain team. • Synergy Marine Group are one of the largest ship management companies in the world (with ca. 500 vessels of various types - including container, bulk and tankers) • Development of the Procurement and Supply Chain organisation, during a period of change. Establising a new organisation structure and working within the management team to support the strategy creation and ensure this was translated to the departmental objectives. ln additional to this I managed the overall responsibility for the Office Relocation project during 2022.

      • Helped in the development of Group Procurement within DFDS. A journey that increased managed spend through introduction of a Category Management structure, professional sourcing processes and tools, and successful stakeholder management. • Consistent high performance, that resulted in promotion to Senior Category Manager and entrance to the exclusive talent management scheme. • Before leaving I was the Group Procurement responsible for developing and driving a Group Procurement strategy for all Group Equipment (incl. Fleet Procurement), Logistics, Seafreight, Railfreight and related spend - incl. fuel, MRO, telematics IT (both CAPEX and OPEX), and ad-hoc CAPEX spend in areas such as Warehouse Construction. With line management responsibility for 7 employees across multiple countries. • Development of DFDS Group Procurement, raising the internal and external profile substantially, which was reflected in successful feedback from both internal and external benchmarks, such as A.T.
