Head of Strategic Property Services, with responsibility for: - Major construction project delivery - delivery of capital building programme of c£150m. - Asset sales - £50m receipts programme over 4 years. - Facilities Management - delivery of significant change in service provision, resulting in dramatic improvements in reputation and customer satisfaction, whilst delivering savings c£1m per annum through effective procurement and contract management. - Building maintenance - leading on a systems review, increasing efficiency and effectiveness of maintenance processes, and releasing savings through contract rationalisation and effective procurement. - Community Asset Transfer policy development and delivery Leads key delivery workstreams of the Council's Workplace Transformation Programme providing a rationalised estate that better serves customers and communities. This programme is delivering savings of £85m over 25 years through a reduction in office properties from 98 buildings to 3 main hubs, receipts of £17m and creation of fit-for-purpose, modern accommodation supported by flexible working practices and technology. Led on integration of property portfolio through transition to Unitary Council, including data capture, analysis and incorporation into Transformation Programme business cases. Integration of portfolios from 5 predecessor authorities into one coherent, robust management system.
