During my time working in Facilities Management throughout the North West of England and as a sole trader, I have gained experience in a wide range of areas within the building trade. Facilities Technician / Engineer, customer care, risk assessments, compliance inspections, painting and decorating, building maintenance and installation. Owning and running my own Property Maintenance business. Quality control, distribution of work activities, machine operator, reading and working from technical drawings, supervision of a production team and liaising with the Works Manager. Qualified first aider. The purchasing of wholesale goods, dealing with customers, stocktaking, keeping cash records, dealing with cash and cheques. Driving heavy plant machinery, fork lift trucks, cranes and the maintenance of machinery. Shot blasting, zinc/metal/paint spraying for various commercial contracts to a very high standard.
While working for Flexspace as a Maintenance Operative, I attend six sites around the North West of England and North Wales. I perform Planned Maintenance, Compliance Inspections and reactive repair work on these sites.
Working for CBRE as a mobile Engineering Technician on the British Telecom and EE contracts. My primary place of work was North Lancashire, North Yorkshire and the Southern region of Cumbria. My main tasks were Planned Maintenance, Compliance Inspections and reactive repair work on properties in this area.
While working for Flexspace as a Maintenance Operative attending eight sites around the North West of England and North Wales. I performed Planned Maintenance, Compliance Inspections and reactive repair work on these sites.
At City Facilities Management, my role was as a Area Maintenance Technician for a well known High Street retailer in the Lancashire, Cumbria, The Scottish Borders and the Greater Manchester area. On a daily basis, I performed Preventative Planned Maintenance, Compliance Inspections and reactive work. I worked alone and part of a team maintaining the stores' fabric and services. I managed my own time and was required to meet certain targets within specific time frames.
While employed by Mitie as a Facilities Engineer, my workload included reactive work Compliance Inspections and Preventative Planned Maintenance on numerous commercial and public sector contracts. The area I worked was mainly in West Lancashire, The Fylde and Cumbria. On occasion I worked in East Lancashire, Greater Manchester and Merseyside. I was also on a ten week rota for a 24 hour call out service.
