Engineering Delivery & Transformation Manager at Powell UK, leading and managing the engineering function across electrical, mechanical, and outsourced resources to deliver projects on time, on budget, and to quality standards. Alongside people management responsibilities for the team, I oversee work scheduling, resourcing, and capacity planning, drive continuous improvement and process standardisation to reduce errors and boost efficiency, and manage departmental budgets. I also contribute to the development and rollout of company-wide IT systems for key strategic projects, and coach, mentor, and train engineers and apprentices, with safety, quality, and duty of care at the centre of everything we deliver.
I am responsible for our IEC Low Voltage products. Activities involve switchgear design, development, product introduction, training provider, engineering system tool creation and maintenance. I provide technical support including liaison with manufacturers, clients and internal production and engineering teams. I co-ordinate and manage assigned projects and day to day activities of my assigned team.
