Program Certification Manager for Large Aircraft Non EU/UK
Responsible for leadership and management of team of circa 230 engineers and 6 Junior Engineering Officers that generate UK Strategic Lift Capability and output of Airworthy C17 aircraft. Involving Fault investigation and recovery, programme management, resource management and leadership and welfare considerations.
Certification Desk officer for MAA, responsible for Certification of multiple Military Type Design Changes (TDCs) and introduction into service of Protector RPAS and work toward Military Type Certificate (MTC). Responsible for supporting the following air systems TDCs and MTC programmes: Chinook F-35 Protector (into service) Puma Rivet Joint RC135 Typhoon Wildcat Awarded Worshipful Company of Engineers Award for RAF Eng Officer of the year 2023 and 3* DG DSA Commendation for Certification work with Rivet Joint and Protector.
Responsible for Continuing Airworthiness responsibilities and considerations, for future Platforms, such as E7 and Protector. Responsible for initial policy creation for E7 Continuing Aiworthiness Management Exposition, including CAMO Order book creation and International liaison with RAAF for E7 introduction. Including contractual interfaces, delegation and oversight of Cont. Aw tasks and Mil CAM and Duty Holder advice and support.
