My passions and experience are all things Product, Agility, and creating environments that unlock a person's true potential. I love working with others, collaborating, managing stakeholders to achieve a common goal. I love wrapping my head around complex concepts and finding the means to communicate it to anyone: both technical and non technical people. I am dedicated to my teams and to successful delivery. I have no fear about getting my hands dirty and love trying new things, to help the team achieve our goal of building something great for our clients. My energy and passion is contagious for those around me. I create a fun and safe environment where we can take our work seriously but not ourselves. One of the aspects that allows me to build great ownership amongst cross functional teams, where everyone feels like they are playing the same game and part of the same family (team). Since we spend at least 25% of our time at work, it is important to find the things we love doing and be awesome at it. I feel privileged to have found my passion at work and have been doing it proudly for over 15 years. I am the lead Agility Coach partnering with MMC's Corporate Information Systems (~400ppl) on their journey towards embodying the Agile and Product mindset. What I do: * FACILITATE: I am a visual thinker. Leveraging industry frameworks or contextual thinking, I help teams create a common understanding, empowering them to move to action quickly in a unified manner. This also includes any difficult conversations that need to be had. *TEACHING: Using practical and hands on methods, I support teams in learning more about the Agile and Product mindset, for example: The value of outcomes, story slicing and sizing, and high level portfolio forecasting. * TEAM & DELIVERY COACHING: I work with teams to help them continuously improve how they deliver effectively and efficiently, leveraging and teaching many Agile, Lean and XP concepts and techniques. The answer isn’t to work harder, but smarter. Teams I am working with have seen up to a 400% reduction in their Cycle time. *PRODUCT COACHING: I partner with TPMs to influence, mentor and teach various ways of working that focuses on strategic thinking, outcomes and building strong collaboration and relationships between the business and technology teams. *INDIVIDUAL & LEADERSHIP COACHING: I coach, mentor, teach, role model and share feedback to support a person's growth from individual contributors to senior leaders.
I was the lead coach for the R&D team supporting self serve advertisers. I helped a small team of 30 grow into a healthy, collaborative, highly functional, continuously improving team of 100 people. What I do: * FACILITATE: I design repeatable and bespoke workshops that I deliver with energy, flexibility and adaptability according to the landscape and the attendees. My sessions value inclusivity and diversity, they range from intimate to larger groups (~100 ppl), both in person or remote. * TEAM & DELIVERY COACHING: I work with teams to help them continuously improve how they deliver effectively and efficiently, leveraging and teaching many Agile, Lean and XP concepts and techniques. The answer isn’t to work harder, but smarter. *PRODUCT COACHING: I partner with Product Managers to influence, mentor and teach Lean and Product Discovery techniques that optimizes for building valuable, feasible and usable products in a collaborative manner. *INDIVIDUAL COACHING: I coach, mentor, teach, role model and share feedback to support a person's growth from individual contributors to senior leaders.
* Deliver Lead for 3 months, managing peers, team dynamics, delivery, risks, impediments, and ways of working. * Collaborated with Architect to redesign Siebel capabilities into reusable micro-services, while also delivering customer outcomes such as; In product purchases, subscription management, and user management. * Launched the first internal pricing engine, reducing the complexity and time it takes for Marketing teams to launch new campaigns by 50%. * Negotiated and educated stakeholders on new architecture creating space for engineering teams to innovate on how to best solve a given customer problem. * Mentored and Coached peers, resulting in their transition to this role. * Nurtured the Agile Community of Practice. * Acted as Project Lead facilitating Agile ceremonies, tracking progress, risks and decisions made.
* Directed company-wide Sales & Billing Platform strategy with a prioritized list of work. * Negotiated business priorities with stakeholders while educating on prioritization techniques. * Simplified intake of company-wide requests, increasing stakeholder trust and the rate of satisfactory request completion with a streamlined, transparent and inclusive intake and prioritization process. * Facilitated project inceptions to solicit business goals, requirements, perform gap analysis, and story mapping, and determine the hypotheses, MVP, and MMFS. * Co-founded the Agile Community of Practice, with regular meetings and training of up to 12 people that traversed PDLC roles (Product Owners, Business Analysts, Engineers, and Scrum Masters). 3 participants went on to become Agile Evangelists and speak at public Agile events. * Coached and mentored peers’ development, resulting in their transition to similar roles. * Inspired business teams to adopt Kanban and get involved with the Agile Community of Practice. * Acted as Scrum Master facilitating all Agile ceremonies and reporting. * Won 4 company awards (Team Purple).
* Advanced the IT Services team in their Agile transformation by revolutionizing how they worked with Agile, bringing innovative and engaging ways to get the work done effectively and increasing their perception across the company. * Won the department MVP Award within the first 6 months. * Acted as Scrum Master, removing impediments, creating predictability, facilitating Agile ceremonies, and ensuring the team always met, if not delighted, the customers. * Coordinated online global product rebranding. Created and led a cross-functional team that involved every department who contributed to deliver a successful and on-time project. * Improved client experience for #1 service Bank Feeds. Enhanced front- and back-end systems to provide delightful client experience and improved processes for internal stakeholders and clients using full web and app product suite.
