Logistics and Project/Event Management • Reviewed and analyzed all event permit requests submitted to the City of Indianapolis. Submitted formal decisions in writing to requestors and collaborated with police commanders to identify historically challenging or complex events and manage officer scheduling accordingly. • Directed all aspects of safety, security, and external event logistics for the 2022 Indianapolis 500, the world’s largest sporting event. Served as liaison to IMS executive leadership, parking staff, third-party security teams, and state, county, and local police departments. • Collaborated with United States Secret Service personnel to identify preferred and alternate routes for visiting Presidents and Vice Presidents based on vast knowledge of the city and potential security threats. Authorized to make alternative arrangements based on immediate threats or plan changes. Directed all route management, security sweeps, and maintenance before and during the visits. • Provided guidance and recommendations to the Miami International Autodrome for their inaugural F1 race following the success of numerous Indianapolis 500s.
