The Siam Commercial Bank has the largest retail network in Thailand and close to 20,000 employees. Developed new business units for the Siam Commercial Bank within the Change Program Division (new business unit focusing on the foreign retail customer segment) and within the Global Investment Division (set up a new division to invest the assets of the bank outside of Thailand).
EF Education First is the largest global educational company. It employs about 30,000 people. Its role in Vietnam is to sell university and language courses delivered abroad to Vietnamese students. • Mandated to take the business to the “next level” in order to become the market leader in Vietnam. • Achieved this objective within one year thanks to a 100% growth in sales. • Managed the teams located in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi (25 people) and the nationwide distribution network.
• Launched eight new products across the region, generating USD 55 Million in sales revenues in 2003. • Developed a distribution partnership in Vietnam with Vietel (army owned operator).
Partech International is a venture capital firm. It was headquartered in the USA and had USD 800 Million under management in 2000. • Identified investment trends and areas of opportunities within the European Telecom Industry. • Made investment recommendations in early stage ventures, including In Fusio (mobile games service provider) and Netsize (wireless messaging operator).
