Ensure strict quality control and food safety standards for all incoming and outgoing produce. Analyze sales data, seasonal trends, and customer demand to optimize product assortment and pricing. Collaborate with operations, logistics, and marketing teams to ensure efficient distribution and strong product presentation. Lead and develop a team responsible for produce sourcing, receiving, and handling. Monitor department KPIs including sales performance, margins, shrink/waste, and supplier performance. Implement initiatives to improve freshness, sustainability, and local sourcing.
