Shreveport-Bossier City Area
I have a high school diploma from Airline High School, and I currently have three years at University of Louisiana Monroe, with a current GPA of 2.857. My first job was with Splash Kingdom Shreveport for the summer of 2021, working from June to August. I, also, worked with 90.3 KEDM as their Music Calendar Curator for the Spring 2023 semester.
The internship was for a class course that I was taking for Spring of 2023. I was put in charge of submitting events onto the 90.3 KEDM Station’s website calendar. I would be forwarded press releases about events from my manager, Jay Curtis, or I would look around online for upcoming events in the Monroe West Monroe area. Then, I would enter details on the website’s submission page, and submit events for approval. Another part of my job involves getting into contact with musicians, groups, and venues about bios to better describe groups.
