I am a fast learning Mechanical Engineer working in HVAC systems design. I work as part of the MEP team at RQAW as a mechanical designer where I design complex HVAC systems for a variety of specialty buildings. I currently have my EIT certification and aim to obtain my PE license as soon as possible. My HVAC design experience includes hydronic systems design, energy recovery systems design, and retrofitting existing buildings with unique HVAC solutions to best meet client needs. I am proficient with Revit and am improving every day.
• Design complex HVAC systems including hydronic energy plants and energy recovery to meet the needs of specialty buildings. • Provide construction administration services ensuring timely and on-budget construction of quality HVAC systems. • Successfully maintain multiple projects at various stages while consistently meeting deadlines and design goals. • Maintain strong working relationships with clients and contractors to ensure effective communication and efficient conflict resolutions.
• Aided in the design, modeling, prototyping, and testing of new and existing products. • Used PTC Creo to create and modify engineering drawings and models to enable the execution of change orders. • Designed assembly fixtures for a new product which were sent to plants for preliminary tooling. • Investigated part failures to identify the root cause of problems and prepared recommendations based on the results of the tests.
• Installed, maintained, and repaired components of high voltage electrical systems. • Complied with safety codes and standards to ensure that jobs were done safely and were up to client expectations. • Operated hand tools, power tools, heavy machinery, and mobile equipment to complete construction tasks.
