As a member of the Atlas Clusters Security team, I led team of three interns in implementation of OS image/policy delivery system, orchestrating critical security updates for over 500k machines. Built architecture of corruption detection system to periodically monitor the Atlas fleet for cases of data corruption. Orchestrated and monitored online processes within customer-defined maintenance windows. Coordinated efforts with triage teams to remediate failures in over 16k cases of data corruption. Drafted engineering proposals to refactor Atlas DB User generation, facilitating consumption by Docs team and reducing tech debt. Participated in efforts to modularize the codebase using Bazel, improving codebase compilation times.
Worked on MongoDB's Rust driver. Implemented support for transactions on sharded clusters. Designed and implemented index management driver API.
Working remotely on MongoDB Realm Cloud backend-as-a-service product. Assisted in redesigning Values & Secrets settings. Implemented new authentication functions allowing clients to securely update their secrets. Worked with TypeScript React, Go, and MongoDB.
Consulted the CEO of Footbridge for Families on the development of a prototype for the non-profit's case management system. Coded and maintained the site’s WordPress platform/donor database. Also assisted in the design of the organization’s COVID-19 emergency platform.
