I’m looking for a fresh challenge, as a people professional or a new career path. I have transferable and adaptable skills in people management, project management and communication (with the whole company, project stakeholders, team members etc). A people professional with over 10 years experience in Learning and Organizational Development. My work supports the organisation; create and navigate change, develop and maintain competitive competencies and communicate company culture and expectations. I’ve worked across a variety of sectors including regulatory, social housing, construction, healthcare and local government. I enjoy watching people grow, removing barriers and proving the people with the knowledge, skills and behaviours to thrive in their chosen field. Project managed Ofcom wide skills review and action planning to access preparedness for the digital age. Including presenting findings at high level steering group and facilitating workshops with each executive to validate results. Working closely with L&D Manager to review and refresh learning catalogue starting with management development, with a greater emphasis on accessibility and inclusion. Overall supporting organisational change programme. Introducing new development options - Consulting and collaborating with key groups to establish needs (Divisional L&D Representatives, HR Management Team, Diversity Networks, Colleague Forum) - Scoping, designing and procuring solutions. Usually utilizing third party trainers. - Programme delivery including scheduling and ensuring maximum utilization through marketing/communications. Occasional classroom delivery. - Embedding coaching and mentoring as development options Improving communications - Working with divisional L&D Forum representatives to ensure individual and team needs are met - Working with internal specialists enabling them to share their knowledge as trainers, mentors or communities of practice - Improved training utilization through marketing/communications and management information reporting. • Designing, implementing and evaluating training solutions on a range of corporate and customer service topics. Designing and delivering training in the classroom, live online and eLearning in house and through 3rd parties. Monthly reporting of health, safety and compliance training. - Sourcing and implementing a learning management system. Working across the whole partnership and fulfilling the needs of 3 very different companies and sectors (social housing, social care, constructions) - Over 9 months supported the Managing Director for the construction company put in place new processes, training matrix and reporting to satisfy the board employees where fully trained to operate safely.
Working in a shared service HR and OD Operations team for a partnership of five companies, offering front line operational HR advice, support and organising training across a diverse customer group. • My main role within the team is to organize training across the country leading a team of 2 administrators • Coordinating training for a care and support function keeping them in line with the regulatory standards under the direction of the OD Advisor, ensuring there is appropriate training available to every staff member to attend • Organising Management, customer care and health and safety training for 3 large housing companies with similar needs, administrating the application process for professional learning, mentoring and personal learning. • Keeping all training records accurate and up to date which is essential to prove compliance with care standards to the regulatory body and important to the housing companies for building a learning organization • Worked on a project to update the training of all care and support staff in line with regulation
