      My role at Hydrock includes but not limited too: - Undertake site walkovers and Phase 1 desk study's; - Write site specific risk assessments and method statements for site works; - Plan and supervise Phase 2 Factual and Interpretive site investigations, including trial pitting, cable percussive, dynamic windowless and rotary boreholes, hand augering, foundation inspection pits, hand pits, CBR tests, chemical and geotechnical sampling and installation of ground gas and groundwater monitoring wells; - Scheduling of environmental and geotehcnical samples for lab testing; - Risk Assessment (Human health, groundwater and ground gas); - Reporting Factual and Interpretive in both a contamination and geotechnical aspect; - Preparation of Remediation Method Statements; - Validation of cover systems, gas membrane installations and foundation inspections; - Remediation and earthworks supervision; - Preparation and verification and validation report; - Preparation of CAD drawings; and - Liaison with clients and public. Major projects undertaken and supervised over £100,000 include investigations into landfill whilst working under ecological conditions to protect great crested newts and investigation of solution features in chalk. Supervising engineer on numerous other brownfield (brewery's, coal workings, commercial / industrial uses, schools) and greenfield projects <£100,000, including assistant supervision on five former gas sites involving exploration works in close proximity to live plant.
