I am currently a Ph.D. Candidate at Texas A&M University, pursuing a doctorate in Anthropology and completed a graduate certificate in Geographic Information Systems. My research uses GIS applications to explore hunter-gather site and landscape use during the terminal Pleistocene-Holocene transition in central Alaska. Throughout my career, I have conducted archaeological fieldwork in multiple states including Arizona, Idaho, Alaska, Florida, Maryland, and New Mexico in both terrestrial and underwater environments. In addition, I have also conducted laboratory analyses for sites in Nevada and Patagonia, South America. In addition to my studies, I also serve as the editor for the Alaska Anthropological Association Newsletter, where I help produce quarterly newsletters. As a student and professional, I have gained experience in many archaeological and geological analyses including lithic, ceramic, spatial, and sediment/soil analyses. I have extensive experience working in curation settings, helping manage archaeological collections, and ensuring proper curation of archaeological materials. In addition to these skills, I also have worked with an extensive list of computer software and programming languages related to my work as an archaeologist including ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Online Adobe software, RStudio, Microsoft software suite, Python, HTML/CSS, and Javascript.
