With a background in automotive engineering and repair I have always had a keen interest in cars new or old. Currently working for BMW as a tyre and prep technician. I manage and maintain the tyre bay at BMW Bristol as well as maintaining tyre stock, ordering in stock to meet demand. I also liaise with the service team and the preparation centre with any and all tyre related queries.
Prepare new vehicles prior to customer hand over, carrying out maintenance to vehicles prior to sale, training and assisting junior staff in co-running the dealerships tyre bay.
Inspecting vehicles for damage and fitting vehicle specific parts along side chemical etching.
Inspecting and preparing Mitsubishi vehicles prior to a pre delivery inspection or delivery, This also includes fitting rental packs for certain models.
