Austin, Texas Metropolitan Area
I am Licensed Texas Journeyman Plumber and a member of Plumbers and Pipefitters UA Local 286 with 10+ years of experience in High Purity Piping Work. I am quick to build rapport with my clients, adaptable, versatile, and take on whatever duties and responsibilities are necessary to keep the customer happy and get the job done. After I served my time in the Marine Corps, I worked my way through the union apprenticeship from the ground up starting with a shovel in my hand. I have held the titles of Quality Manager, Safety Manager, Orbital Welder, Foreman, Project Manager, and currently Quality Director reporting directly to the owner.
I am the Project Manager onsite, Safety Manager onsite, Quality Manager onsite and responsible for everything that goes on at my job site. I know the work we perform at Samsung from the ground up. Everything from the billing of the individual semiconductor tool installations as well as all logistics requirements for the job site are under my control. I liaise directly with our clients and whether we need a wrench or 1,000' of tubing I am responsible for purchasing and timely delivery so our team can drive the projects forward.
I began as a Piping Apprentice assigned the lateral duties of Quality Manager and Safety Manager and then promoted to Foreman for a tool hookup crew. Throughout this position I interacted directly with our clients at Samsung and with third party quality and safety oversight. I left this position to seek greater responsibility.
I joined as Infantry Squad Leader with local guard unit and was placed on active duty attached to Georgia Gwinnett College and University of Georgia ROTC program. I was charged with helping to perform administrative and logistics duties. I acted as the Supply Sergeant as well as being responsible for maintaining the academic records and qualifications for selecting future officers.
I worked as an apprentice during Samsung Fab 2 Base build installing Ultra Pure Water Piping in CUB2 and the Polish Room. After base build I began working as an orbital welder's fitter and then became an orbital welder myself. I gained valuable experience fitting up larger stainless steel piping and then welding the smaller piping to the semiconductor tools themselves.
