I am a final year student, studying Cardiac Physiology, at the University of Leeds.
-Partner with peers and church leaders to provide a safe, engaging and nurturing environment for children. -Assist in leading interactive Bible teachings for the 'Heroes' (aged 7-11 years), facilitating small group discussions and organising games and crafts that help kids to grow in their faith
-Liase with all serving teams, including the production, worship, host team and more, to ensure the church service runs smoothly and efficiently.
-GCSE Physics, maths, biology and Chemistry in Person across Leeds. -100% pass rate & 100% target grade rate achieved among my students. -Also available to tutor students online
As a Course Representative, I am responsible for conveying the thoughts and concerns of my cohort in the CUPs School Taught Education Sub-committee (STSEC) and the Programme Management Committee (PMC) meetings.
-Student Ambassador for school of Medicine’s MMI interviews -Student Ambassador for the School of Medicine's Open Days -Student Ambassador for "Boys into Healthcare" Event -Often tasked with providing tours or informing prospective students and adults about the University and its Healthcare degrees.
- Ensure ethnically minoritised students from underrepresented background have their voices intrinsically embedded in actions for change. - Currently working to achieve these aims by liaising with the Student Counselling & Wellbeing Service, creating multi-layered projects and workshops for students, developing a ‘life after graduation’ programme and more. - Aiming to build equal partnerships, encourage interaction from widening groups and establish collaborative communication between advisors and students.
-Learning to assist and lead ETT and tilt testing -Training in advanced ECG interpretation and ambulatory ECG analysis -Assisting in Cath labs where possible and observing pacemaker implementations
