With extensive training on Franklin Covey Institute's 7 Habbits of Highly Effective People, I teach social-emotional, interpersonal, and leadership skills and techniques to elementary school students. I create leadership lessons in collaboration with my partner and teach daily. These are used to engage students in learning more about themselves and their self-defined role in the world, one small idea after the next. As a Lead Intern, I oversee a group of 12 interns at my school site and facilitate weekly group discussions that are conducive to the educational environment.
Facilitated executive meetings to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of district-wide operations. Worked with district staff and administrators to identify and address student and school needs. Collaborated with students, families, and educational leaders across the district. Designed and distributed communications reaching more than 200 school sites.
