I was hired in 2000 to the position order clerk data entry clerk at Affiliated Materials Services. I was promoted to lead dispatcher one year later. My role was to provide support to 14 drivers who serviced multiple hospitals and managed care facilities across eastern Maine. I was responsible for processing all driver log sheets on a daily basis. Providing directions to locations for pickups and drop offs. Facilitating expeditious deliveries. I was also responsible for accounts receivable and payable and month end billings for the transportation department. I also had the responsibility of handling all inbound customer service calls, courier requests and complaints. Processing all x-ray deliveries for The Eastern Maine Medical Hospital through either UPS Fed EX or through local couriers. Traveling on the road handling installations for doctor s offices across New England. Installing X-ray view boxes, exam lights, otoscopes, exam tables, scales, stiediometers, patient privacy curtains. While managing the transportation department remotely.
