Bob & Pete’s is a market-leading manufacturer and distributor of premium bakery products. With a turnover exceeding $55 million, we proudly supply freshly baked goods to over 3,000 customers across NSW, including cafés, corporate caterers, and service stations. Reporting directly to the General Manager, I am responsible for safeguarding the financial health of the organisation and delivering commercial insight and support to the Executive Management Team. Key Responsibilities: • Lead the end-of-month close process, including full preparation of P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, departmental performance reviews, and variance commentary. • Prepare the annual budget across P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow components. • Develop and maintain monthly rolling forecasts for P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow. • Lead a finance team of six, including AR, AP, Payroll, Assistant Accountant, and Financial Accountant functions. • Ensure full statutory compliance in payroll tax, superannuation, FBT, GST, and PAYG obligations. • Oversee capital expenditure processes—manage end-to-end major capital requests and review minor capital submissions, ensuring sound financial execution of all projects. • Maintain and update product costing models, including cost roll-ups and overhead allocations. • Manage the fixed asset register and ensure alignment with accounting standards. • Provide strategic financial leadership to senior management, including profitability analysis for new business opportunities, product lines, and projects. • Deliver high-impact commercial analysis, including customer growth tracking, turnover analysis, average basket size, and product penetration reports.
