I’m an UX/HCI researcher & data analyst who is knowledgeable in both quantitative and qualitative methods, and am capable of working in roles located in both the US and anywhere in Spain, and am open to relocation. I have a background in civic technology and designing accessible data visualization systems for science communication. I am a major advocate for user-centric design and I recently presented my dissertation for my PhD in Human Computer Interaction. • Conduct CX and UX data analysis using Python (sklearn, NumPy) to uncover behavioral patterns and inform product and experience decisions, supporting the global customer experience team in strategic decision-making. • Design and field user surveys via Qualtrics, translating research questions into structured instruments that capture actionable customer and user insights, increasing survey participation rates by over 10%. • Build and maintain stakeholder-facing data visualization dashboards in Power BI and Qualtrics, distilling complex datasets into clear, decision-ready reporting, while managing the underlying data systems and pipelines using Python (pandas) to ensure clean, reliable data flows.
• Conduct primary and secondary market research within the clinical trial and biotech sector, analyzing over 100 data sources across study sites in the LATAM region, and synthesizing competitive intelligence and patient insights, resulting in increased patient recruitment for clinical trial studies across various sites. • Apply quantitative and qualitative research methods including competitive analysis and conjoint analysis to model market trends and evaluate customer preference structures across target segments.
• Led product ownership of a data visualization and science communication tool from concept to delivery within a multi-country EU initiative, setting research strategy, managing the roadmap, and overseeing all UX/UI decisions. • Executed mixed-methods research cycles (co-design, card sorting, usability testing, user interviews) and applied thematic analysis to synthesize findings into iterative design improvements. • Analyzed behavioral datasets using Python and SPSS, applying statistical modeling (linear regression, Bayesian inference) to drive evidence-based design decisions. Directed stakeholder engagement with international partners including VRT and The Knowle West Media Centre. • Collaborated with cross-functional teams and international research partners to define user requirements, align product goals, and deliver a fully validated science communication tool across multiple study cycles;mentored undergraduate students in HCI research methods and design practices.
Owned end-to-end UX research and redesign of a B2C medical app: defined the research roadmap, conducted usability testing and user interviews, managed external stakeholders, and delivered prototypes that directly informed the shipped redesign.
• Owned UX research and design for a 3D EEG data visualization tool for the Institute for Bioengineering of Catalonia (IBEC), analyzing 30+ behavioral EEG datasets via structured usability testing cycles and Python data pipelines.
