• To provide leadership of the Customer Account Management team in delivery of budget and KPI requirements within their region. • To advocate, implement and coach World Class Key Account Management capability across the team. • Account Management of Strategic high performing accounts. • To regularly monitor and report on delivery of budget and KPI requirements through Business Performance reviews with CAM’s and Head of Business Development. • Support CAM’s at key trust meeting’s and hold regular reviews with key trust stakeholders to review performance versus Joint Business Plans • Identify New Business opportunities and outline plans to win New Business. • To support the Head of Business Development and Customer Experience in delivery of the Business Plan and objectives. • Management of key stakeholder relationships both internally and externally as appropriate and support the Business Development function in the development and maintenance of relationships. • To represent and engage at relevant Industry events to promote NHSSC: Food. • Identify Insights and Trends and report on potential implications and opportunities.
• Delivering excellent Account Management by building strong and lasting relationships with both internal and external personnel. • Day-to-day management of Trust interface, understanding the business needs and influencing purchasing habits. • Managing a number of trusts through a transition to a new distribution model. • To identify and promote opportunities to the Trust to ensure both internal and external savings targets are achieved. • Proactively coordinate and manage regular review meetings with stakeholders at all levels, up to and including the Finance and Procurement Directors. • Building executive relationships with customers, suppliers and internal personnel - at all levels. • Understanding both Procurement and Catering needs of the Trust in order to anticipate and mitigate any threats. • Supporting Trusts through product and framework launches. • Providing intelligence on any competitive threat and taking action to reduce that threat. • Working closely within a team of 13 account managers to ensure regular communication regarding NHS purchasing trends and internal operational requirements. • Supporting the procurement team with obtaining regular and accurate data on purchasing through the NHS trusts. • Working to and meeting specific KPIs and regularly reporting on targets to Senior Leadership Team.
• Delivering excellent Key Account Management and monitoring billing & sales, cash & debt targets through effective financial management. • Day-to-day management of customer interface, including resolution of billing, cash, operational and service queries • Assist key customers with water saving strategies to assist then with their energy policies and targets. • Organising and managing water efficiency events at customers’ sites to educate employees on the best use of water use in the home and office. • To identify and promote added value products and services to Key Account customers. • Identifying opportunities to win new customers and take the initial lead in advancing these opportunities to increase revenue. • Building relationships with customers - at all levels. • Understanding service needs in order to anticipate and mitigate any threats to retaining high value Key Account customers • Monitoring, controlling and reporting on risks and opportunities . • Providing intelligence on any competitive threat and taking action to reduce that threat. • Managing a team of Key Account Agents and assisting in prioritising work load according to value of customer and customer profile.
