• Providing strategic guidance to the GS1 standards development process as GS1 Process Oversight Committee Co-Chair and advocating GS1 France interests • Shaping the future of GS1 EDI in global GS1 Standardisation and external initiatives like AFNOR, CEN, and UN/CEFACT, managing and engaging the EDI community • Strategy and Business lead of the GS1 in Europe eGovernment initiative focusing on public sector eProcurement and Business2Government eInvoicing, coordinating efficient strategic and technical resources to position GS1 Standards in relevant European groups
• Managing a team of five remotely encouraging the team members to take ownership of their projects and deliverables leading to improved motivation and more timely and accurate results • Representing GS1 France interests in the global GS1 standardisation activity related to EDI • Chairing the UN Centre for Trade Facilitation and Electronic Business (UN/CEFACT) domain and process groups (TBG), installing a collaborative framework between the various TBGs whose mission was to develop global standards, recommendations and tools for trade facilitation, establishing a fruitful working relationship with the UNECE Secretariat to allow for improved synergy and cooperation between the experts working in UN/CEFACT, this resulted in enhanced project management follow-up and in a more timely delivery and display of standards and recommendations
• Developing the German and European region via direct Sales (acquisition of new customers) concluding a sales contract and establishing sales prospects • Marketing activities (presentations, press communications, conference and exhibition participation, running specialised workshops) • Managing the relationship with GS1, the GS1 Global Standards Management, and related trade associations
