• Production Support on the improvement, upgrading & troubleshooting of processes, machines, and facilities. • Establishing Processes for new production parts together with the process engineers. • Design Support for the R&D team on the development of new parts for ease of manufacture. • Planning & Coordinating Tests to establish new sources of materials. • Overseeing & Coordinating Procurement of new machines, automation, equipment, together with the procurement department. • Reviewing & Approving Calibration of gauges, measuring instruments, machines, etc. • Preparing & Reviewing process sheets and OWI.
• Production Support for the improvement and troubleshooting of processes, and machines for 40mm ammunition production. • Plan and Coordinate Tests to establish new sources of material/ production processes. • Technical Support and Liaison with Vendors for the procurement and commissioning of new machines, and automation equipment. • Design and Draft Process sheets, cold forming tooling, and gauges. • R&D Team Support for the development of new parts, and establishment of production processes for the new parts.
• Product Data Management – Ensured that the components consumed are updated and accurate in the SAP system • GSE Project – Applied lean manufacturing tools to improve the efficiency and quality of the production shop floor • Kaizen Event – Proposed layout changes after reviewing the inadequacies of the production processes and shopfloor layout • Shopfloor Support – Participated in the mechanical and electrical assembly of products, and provided assistance to the technicians
• Ensured that CPF members are well-informed and understood the various CPF schemes and their benefits
