I definitely wasn't the kid who grew up dreaming about barbells. But in my early 20s I discovered strength training and realized the power ad impacts that strength training can have on every aspect of your life - even outside the weight room. Since then I've been on a mission to bring that same "wait, am I strong?" moment to as many people as possible, especially the ones who've convinced themselves the gym isn't for them. I'm currently the Chief Marketing & Brand Officer at Seattle Strength & Performance, a multi-location strength training gym in Seattle built on the belief that strength training is for everybody, not just the people who already look like they belong there. In this role I lead brand identity, content strategy, marketing, and community growth across five locations, while also overseeing our Youth Athletics program and coaching remote clients on hybrid and away programs. Before stepping into the CMO seat, I wore a lot of hats at SSP — Coach, Programming Lead, Chief of Staff — which means I've done everything from writing personalized training programs at 6am to opening new gym locations to managing location leaders to appearing on Fox 13 to talk about why strength training is the most important part of any fitness and health routine. Prior to moving to Seattle, I spent time coaching and leading at the YMCA, coaching in various other boutique fitness studios, and earning my MS in Applied Physiology and Kinesiology from the University of Florida. I hold my CSCS and CFSC and have 10+ years of coaching experience across youth athletics, recreational fitness, and competitive strength sports. I care deeply about making fitness less intimidating, more inclusive, and genuinely fun — because I've seen firsthand what happens when someone who thought the gym wasn't for them walks in, learns to deadlift, and completely changes how they see themselves. That moment never gets old. If you're building something in the fitness, wellness, or brand space and want to connect — or if you just want to talk about why strength training is the answer to most of life's problems — my DMs are open. 📍 Seattle, WA | MS, CSCS, CFSC | she/her
