Natalie is a co-founder of Be the Change Group, established in 2012. Be the Change is a research and strategy firm and creative agency under one roof. Our clients are innovators and change-makers—they come to us with a problem, and we collaborate to find the solution(s). From developing communications for global climate change initiatives such as the UNFCCC, to gender-based violence initiatives in South Sudan, to supporting clients in responding to the overdose crisis, to developing and amplifying brands, to healthcare solutions and campaigns that help patients and communities access equitable and transformative healthcare. Her journey reflects tenacity, resilience, creativity, and a commitment to fostering healthy communities through frontline clinical service and population health initiatives. With a background in medicine and research, Natalie leads a diverse team, integrating evidence-based solutions with community-driven approaches to address health equity. Her expertise spans clinical strategy, research, and program development, ensuring the firm's continuous growth and impact. Currently, Natalie provides primary care and addiction medicine services to Vancouver's key priority populations, including people living with mental illness and substance use disorders, people engaged in sex-work, and at-risk youth. Her inclusive approach to patient care, informed by cultural sensitivity and community engagement, reflects her dedication to social impact. Recognized as a leader in her field, Natalie is currently serving as an appointed governor on the UBC Board of Governors, and she has received prestigious awards, including the Business in Vancouver Forty under 40 and the RBC Women of Influence Social Change Award. Her educational background includes a BSc in Life Sciences, a Masters of Health Science, and an MD. Natalie's journey epitomizes the power of combining passion with expertise, driving positive change and inspiring others to do the same.
Our team consists of three interdisciplinary teams that work together to solve complex issues. These teams include the research and community engagement team, the strategy and communications team, and the design and development team. Our overall team consists of project managers, population health consultants, researchers, physicians, nurses, communications and community engagement specialists, content strategists, copywriters, copyeditors, designers, web developers, animators, photographers, and filmmakers. We customize each project team to meet the unique requirements of each of our clients.

Does HIV Look Like Me? International(DHLLMI) aims to reduce the stigma associated with HIV/AIDS. Although based in Vancouver, DHLLMI works globally to raise awareness via cutting-edge media and print campaigns, and by providing education and leadership opportunities to people affected by HIV.
