A job in the English field has been a dream of mine for many years. Being able to help someone's true creativity come out through their writing is something I'm very passionate about, which I believe stemmed from helping my friends with their English assignments in high school. My best friend is incredibly mathematical and science-oriented, where I'm much more on the creative/English side of things. Being able to bring her wonderful ideas into a well-executed piece was so thrilling, and really inspired me to explore the topic more, which leads right up to where we are today. I plan to attend Simon Fraser University's Creative Writing and Editing courses over the next few years to allow for my skills to broaden and hopefully open up many more opportunities for my future career.
