I am a cooperative team member with excellent relational skills. I am a quick learner and enjoy the challenge of learning new skills. I have excellent reading comprehension skills and writing skills. I have experience with public speaking and am an effective communicator with various ages. I am organized and reliable and enjoy demonstrating my passion for people in different job settings and situations, whether that be giving excellent customer service, or helping in a youth leader or social capacity. I am a graduate from English Literature at Exeter University with the aim to work in an education setting to improve peoples wellbeing and day to day lives.
My responsibilities include: planning lessons individually or in sequence, teaching partial or whole lessons to a range of abilities and year groups, supporting pastoral systems i.e. tutor groups within the school, rolling out school policies within my lessons.
Enabling Sunday volunteers across 2 sites and 3 meetings. Helping to provide resources and materials for teaching and supporting the vision set by the Kids Champion.
I was responsible for the well being of one or two children with additional needs or disabilities aged 3-11 on a Saturday or during a school holiday. I entertained and engaged with the individual children giving them the attention needed.
