I am a proactive, goal oriented, teamworking Engineering Project Manager, always eager to learn more and face new challenges. I have a good general vision of projects. Before being a Project Engineer I have been working in the railway industry as system engineer and as an expert in Fire Safety Engineering. During this time I learnt to understand the functioning of the different vehicle types and the complete train composition, so I have an overall idea of how railway vehicles are constructed and the relation between the different subsystems. Daily I have to interact with other areas of expertise, coordinate and lead working groups to achieve new tasks coming from new requirements from the Standards, or our customers, or improvements of the product, all in the right time quality and budget.
Traction Project Engineering Manager (PrEM) of DT6 Metro Hamburg Project
Role as Project Engineer within Bombardier Transporation: lead the Engineering core team members within the TRAXX Locomotives engineering organisation for a specific project. Give technical directions, prepare decisions and escalation and is the technical integrator and the key interface to Project Management and other functions on project level as well as to the customer of the project. Projects: * May 2017 - present: Project Engineer for locomotives TRAXX DEME Platform. * January - April 2017: Project Engineer for locomotives TRAXX DESE Platform. Key Accountabilities: - Identify, clarify and describe project scope of work for Engineering (Base are Bid Documentations) - Execute all applicable Engineering processes and procedures as stated in the PE Pocket - Lead the execution of the Engineering scope in the given time line, budget and technical scope - Ensure meeting the quality objectives for engineering deliverables. - Support and manage Technical Open Items to be closed - Check and request sufficient resources per scope of work. - Check and request sufficient budget per scope of work - Prepare Change orders in case of scope changes - Report and escalate all those issues unsolvable on project level in a timely manner. - Analyse potential risks and their implication on the project /platform / organisation. - Lead Engineering Risk & Opportunity Workshops and harmonize results with Project Management - Support Production and Commissioning - Support approval process and customer acceptance - Lead technically the warranty phase (depending on scope agreements)

Fire Protection Engineering expert and EcoDesign Engineer. • Responsible for Fire Protection Engineering and EcoDesing in Locomotives platform. • Resource and schedule control. • Definition of Fire safety and EcoDesign requirements and technical concept elabolation for all vehicles of locomotives’ division. • Technical responsible for the fire protection homologation process. (TSI LOC&PAS, EN 45545, EN 50553, specific EU countries, American NFPA 130, South African Regulations) • Projects: o TRAXX MS2, AC3, AC3 Israel, DEME vehicle releases (electric and diesel locomotives), for diferent european operators o TRAXX South Africa – Locomotives for South African train operator TFR.
Mechanical Installations and Safety Engineering department • Systems integration and interface analysis. • Knowledge of Fire Protection Engineering, fire barrier doors and automatic doors. • Study of different Standards from different countries: European Union and Russia. • Elaboration of Technical Specifications and documentation. • Study of technical offers and continuous contact with suppliers. • Collaboration with materials definition workgroup. • Coordination of fire barriers definition workgroup. • Risk analysis regarding fire protection in trains. • Technical responsible for the fire protection homologation process. • Type tests definition and performance of fire protection systems, fire barrier doors and automatic doors. • Projects: * Kazakhstan‘s Train Hotel.
