During my internship in the instrumentation department within the petroleum sector, I had the opportunity to explore various exciting aspects of the industry. Here are some of my key contributions and experiences: Control System Architecture: -Familiar with the architecture of DCS which includes three main domains: -Process Control: Utilizes Centum VP PLCs. -ESD (Emergency Shutdown): Focused on protection systems. -Fire and Gas: Utilizes Prosafe RS PLCs. -Understand the role of gateways for communication between the DCS and subsystems such as SCADA, CCC, Mark VI, and SIS. - Proficient in PID regulation and programmable logic. - Knowledge of programmable logic for Centum VP process automation. -Understanding different types of control loops (I/O, split-range, cascade). Instrumentation Wiring: -Comprehend the wiring logic from instrumentation equipment to process control and safety PLCs. -Knowledgeable in the architecture of SCADA systems and the WinCC SCADA software.
Achieved first place in the competition organized by GDG Constantine Scientific Club for developing a health chatbot. Designed to respond to patients by identifying symptoms and recommending necessary tests, this chatbot enables doctors to treat patients through a digital platform.
