+ Brainstorm to develop ideas on where and how to scout for future models. We hold an open call where anyone can walk in off the street and be seen by an agent. We also attend events all over the country to scout for models. + Exclusively books male and female models for fashion and lifestyle print and runway jobs all over the country. This includes look books, e-commerce, catalog, fit models, runway shows, showroom, presentations, etc. + Creatively handles the agency's fashion division's social media accounts for Instagram, Facebook and Twitter. Our social media presence has increased through my efforts. + Helps develop new models into working models through education and example. We hold a "new faces" seminar a few times a year where we spend the whole day explaining different aspects of the business to newly signed models. Everything from accounting, model movement, runway, fitness, nutrition, etc. + Negotiates contracts on the models behalf to ensure proper payment for the amount of exposure. + Creates and maintains positive relationships with hundreds of clients and agencies all over the world.
+ Solely responsible for booking approximately 200 male and female models for live events all over the world. This includes runway shows, presentations, sales team training shows, tradeshows, fit models, etc. Consulted with clients from their initial concept to casting to creating a short list to actual event. Developed long standing, trusting relationships with clients to enable them to skip the casting and short list phases of their production. + Created Ford Chicago’s social media presence from scratch accumulating more than 70,000 followers. Responsible for researching, compiling, creating and posting items on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. + Negotiated contracts on behalf of the models to insure proper payment for the requested amount of exposure + Booked female models for ecommerce companies and increased bookings by 75% (Akira, Bona Drag) + Guest speaker at Columbia College, DePaul and International Academy of Design and Technology about my career and the modeling industry + Scouted for new models via scouting campaigns, street casting, social media and open call at the agency + Facilitated the relationship between TV/film casting directors and models that turned into a whole separate section of business for the agency. (Empire, Chicago P.D/Fire/Justice/Med, Transformers 3, The Dark Knight) + Partnered with other model agencies to fulfill client needs that neither agency could do on their own + Educated new models (as young as 13) and their parents about the rules and expectations of the modeling business. This includes walking techniques, wardrobe/supplies necessities, financial management and professional behavior. + Organized company parties for anywhere from 15 to 400 people. This includes negotiating with the venue, DJ, liquor sponsors, photographers and maintaining the guest list. I was able to negotiate trade for services for some vendors while others gave us a highly discounted rate. + Increased division’s revenue by 50%
