Set up from scratch a new department to help bring to life the new Health Technology strategy, and drive future growth through new business for Philips UK. Acted as an incubator for corporate entrepreneurship, leading change and applied Lean Start Up methodologies. Built a new team and reported to the General Manager. Worked on the strategy for Philips UK and led a number of projects that included: - The launch of a new category in the connected health space ensuring a Digital first strategy - The development of new services and opening new channels in both B2C and B2B space - Managed strategic relationship at a C Suite level with the biggest Health and Beauty retailer
Led the Health and Wellness Business Group for Philips UK and Ireland, that included the following brands: Philips Sonicare (electric toothbrushes), Philips Zoom (professional whitening solutions), Philips Avent (Baby/Infant Feeding, Bottles, Breastpumps, Soothers etc). Managed a €60Μ portfolio across 4 Categories (Oral Healthcare, Dental Professional, Mother and Childcare, Pain Relief) and a team of 9 people. Over-delivered all key metrics (Sales, Profitability and Market Share), creating the fastest growing Business Unit for Philips UK for 2 years in a row.
