I am deploying my knowledge grabs through textile engineering and experience gathered during past 14 years relating to fabrics for new innovations which developing for future needs of NIKE Brand. Key responsibilities to bring innovative newness from materials including fibers, yarns, chemicals and processing mechanism. Brand moment developments are done with the successful involvement.
LineaNXT is attached to MAS KREEDA as innovation hub for Nike Apparel. Our team is dedicate to find solution for new product and concept innovation, which launch in to market based on Future needs of Nike Brand. Under my responsibilities, engage with innovation interested suppliers through confidential agreements, bring new material solutions for the ideas generating by team, explore new chemical and finishing solutions which support with functional and sustainability aspects, testing validation part with internal and external laboratories while try to find new method of validation to prove the suggesting functionality.
Responsible for fabrics and trims with right quality at the right time available for production while maintain Organizational goals as well as driving department KPIs. Achieve supply chain goals while implementing new strategies to enhance the supplier relationship while improving quality and service level of them. Introduce innovative methods and systems to improve the department functions as well as whole production process simplifications.
Responsible for providing the right quality fabric for apparel production(woven & knit), negotiation with fabric suppliers regarding quality issues, managing issues arising from the production plants and managing the working staff. Visiting fabric mills in local and overseas to discuss improvements of products and developments.
Employed as Material Developer since February 2012 to July 2013. Responsible for Liaise with suppliers in order to develop fabric whilst negotiating cost effective prices, Examine the fabric price in detail across different fibers/ composition/ construction/ region & suppliers, Understanding the customer requirement and technical manuals, conduct Pre Production meeting with suppliers
